Payments For the services contracted, some advance payment should be made to hold the booking on confirmed basis & the full payment must reach us 90 days before the travel date in case of group bookings and 60 days before in case of individual (FIT) bookings. Trip on Himalaya hold the right to decide on the amount to be paid as advance payment, based on the nature of service & the time left for the commencement of the service. Besides above, in certain cases like Train Journeys, hotels or resorts bookings during the peak season (Christmas/ New Year) or during fairs/festivals, full payment may be required in order to hold space on CONFIRMED BASIS. Please note that such payments are NON REFUNDABLE.
Payment can be made through Wire Transfer to our bank or through Mail Authorization through credit cards or online through our payment gateway using Master/Visa credit cards. In case of payment through credit card, a small amount of bank processing fee would be applicable on the amount being paid by credit cards.
Prices are per person based upon shared twin/Double room occupancy. Prices do not include items of a personal nature such as laundry, wines, water, beverages, passport and visa fees, insurance, and foreign port taxes unless specifically indicated in the package inclusions. Prices are correct at time of publication; however, as airfares continually fluctuate and classes of service may have limited capacity, tour package prices and availability will change accordingly. In case of human or computer error, Trip on Himalaya reserves the right to re-invoice for the correct price or service. A full refund will be made to passengers who choose not to pay an increase, provided Trip on Himalaya receives a written cancellation within five days of the price increase notification. Trip on Himalaya may offer reduced pricing/ offers on certain products or services. Reduced pricing/Offers applies only to new bookings. Bookings where payment of at least a deposit has been received are not entitled to reduced pricing/offers..
In regard to refund of unused / unutilized services (which are paid for and cancelled in advance) the refund amount would be worked out on the basis of cancellation policy as described above and the money would be accordingly refunded to the person who has made the payment to us. Please note that the refund process may take 2 – 4 weeks due to banking procedures. If the refund is made to the credit card account OR to Bank account, the bank charges would be debited from the refund amount. No refund or reduction will be made to any member in respect of airfare, accommodation, meals, sightseeing tours, transport or any other services which are included in the tour fare out not utilized by the tour member due to personal reasons.
Deposit, Final Payment, and Cancellation penalties may differ for special events, some customized groups including group tour airfares, tours with internal flights, and/or certain sea cruises as well as selected packages and hotels, and will be advised at time of booking on your invoice.
You are required to ensure that you are adequately insured for the full duration of the tour in respect of illness, injury, death, loss of baggage and personal items, cancellation and curtailment. The choice of insurer is the sole discretion of the client.
Trip on Himalaya reserves the right to accept, reject or expel any individual who is deemed disruptive or incompatible with the interests of the group, including, but not limited to, individuals who are intoxicated and/or under the influence of drugs leading to a negative experience for the remainder of the group. Expenses, including cancellation fees and/or costs for alternate travel plans or to return home, will necessarily be borne by the passenger. All unused services are non-refundable.
Anyone under the age of 18 is considered to be a minor. Minors must always be accompanied by an adult. All bookings with a minor are subject to review and approval by the Trip on Himalaya. If the consent of a parent, guardian or any other person is required by applicable law for any minor to travel, the accompanying adult is responsible for securing all consents, documentation and ensuring that they and the minor(s) meet all legal requirements to travel, to enter into and depart from applicable countries and regions. Trip on Himalaya will not be responsible for any fees, damages, or losses incurred as a result of any failure to secure necessary consents, permits, and approvals.
You must provide the information requested by Trip on Himalaya along with final payment. If you fail to supply information required by Trip on Himalaya for air tickets, tours, permits, or other inclusions, you will also be liable for any costs, fees or losses including failure to obtain or provide that inclusion. In the event that you fail to supply information required, Trip on Himalaya also reserves the right to treat your booking (or the relevant component of your booking) as cancelled and levy any cancellation fees deemed reasonable by the Trip on Himalaya, in its sole discretion. Trip on Himalaya will not be held responsible for any fees you incur as a result of errors, omissions, inaccuracies, late, misplaced or otherwise incomplete information you have provided.
Tour prices do not include international or other airfare unless expressly mentioned in the Tour’s descriptions. Trip on Himalaya will quote the best price available for the travel dates requested at the time the quote is prepared. Quotes provide an estimate only and are not a firm price commitment by Trip on Himalaya. Please consult the air carrier’s applicable terms and conditions and conditions of carriage for complete information including applicable cancellation terms. Trip on Himalaya is not responsible for changes in air itineraries or flight times and does not provide advice or alerts regarding air travel tickets, flight status or delays.
Check-In – 14:00 Hours. Early arrival is subject to availability. For guaranteed early check-in, reservation needs to be made starting from the previous night. Check – Out – 10:00 Hours. Later check-outs are available on request and subject to availability / Payment.
If you are a travel agent or group leader, you are deemed to be the designated contact person for every participant included on that booking. This means that you are responsible for making all payments due in connection with your Tour booking, notifying the Tour Operator or your travel agent if any changes or cancellations are required and keeping your party informed. By booking on behalf of another person or persons, you represent and warrant that you have obtained all required consents. You are responsible for verifying that any information you provide on behalf of another participant is complete and accurate and the Tour Operator will under no circumstances be liable for any errors or omissions in the information provided to complete a booking.
Travelers are responsible for ensuring that they have the proper travel documents and it is their responsibility to check all the required documentation and identification required for entry, departure and travel to each country or region. They MUST CHECK with their respective consulate(s) or visa agency to determine whether any visas or passports are required. Passports are required to be valid for at least 6 months beyond the dates of travel. We are not responsible for any cancellation of tour due to visa/passport. It is travelers responsibility to check all the required documentation and identification required for entry, departure and travel to each country or region. The travelers/Client accept full responsibility for obtaining all such documents, visas and permits prior to the start of the Tour, and are solely responsible for the full amount of costs incurred as a result of missing or defective documentation. The traveler/Client is responsible for the full amount of any loss or expense incurred by the Tour Operator that is a direct result of their failure to secure or be in possession of proper travel documentation. The Tour Operator does not provide advice on travel documents and makes no representations or warranties as to the accuracy or completeness of any information provided on visas, vaccinations, climate, clothing, baggage, or special equipment and you agree that the Tour Operator is not responsible for any errors or omissions in this information.
In order to fully enjoy our tour, please select a trip that is suitable to your physical capabilities or consult us before booking the tour. Tour participants requiring any form of assistance, including travelers with physical disabilities, sight, hearing or mobility impairments, are required to notify on email prior to reservation for review and our agreement.
All efforts will be made sincerely to maintain the contract made by our organization with its customers but there are always possibilities of certain Items like airfares, entrance fee at the monuments or drastic increase in fuel costs etc. getting more expensive without any notice from the Govt. authorities. In such FORCE MAJEUR, the difference in the cost would be borne by the customers. Trip on Himalaya, New Delhi act only in the capacity of agent for the hotels, airlines, transporters, railways & contractors providing other services & all exchange orders, receipts, contracts & tickets issued by us are issued subject to terms & conditions under which these services are provided by actual suppliers. All itineraries are sample itineraries, intended to give you a general idea of the likely trip schedule. Numerous factors such as weather, road conditions, the physical ability of the participants etc. may dictate itinerary changes either before the tour or even after the commencement of the tour. We reserve the right to change any schedule in the interest of the trip participants safety, comfort & general well being. Our rates are based on the prevailing rates as negotiated by us with the hotels, airlines etc. Hotels and Airlines retain the right to modify the rates without notice. In case of such changes the rates quoted before the modification, can be changed by us according to the modifications by hotels or airlines. All hotel bookings are based on usual check in and check out time of the hotels until unless indicated in the itinerary. We shall not be responsible for any delays & alterations in the programme or expenses incurred – directly or indirectly – due to natural hazards, flight cancellations, accident, breakdown of transport, weather, sickness, landslides, closures/blocades due to political unrest or any such incidents. Without limitation, Trip on Himalaya is not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage to person or property, death, delay or inconvenience in connection with the provision of any goods or services occasioned by or resulting from, but not limited to, acts of God, acts of government, force majeure, acts of war or civil unrest, insurrection or revolt, strikes or other labor activities, criminal or terrorist activities of any kind, or the threat thereof, overbooking or downgrading of accommodations, structural or other defective conditions in hotels or other lodging facilities, mechanical or other failure of airplanes or other means of transportation or for any failure of any transportation mechanism to arrive or depart timely or safely, diseases and dangers associated with or bites from animals, pests or insects, marine life or vegetation of any sort, dangers incident to recreational activities such as swimming, kayaking, sailing, canoeing, rafting, hiking, walking, bicycling, etc., sanitation problems, food poisoning, lack of access to or quality of medical care, difficulty in evacuation in case of a medical or other emergency, illness, epidemics or the threat thereof or for any other cause beyond the direct control of Trip on Himalaya. We do not have any insurance policy covering the expenses for accident, sickness, loss due to theft, or any other reasons. Visitors are advised to seek such insurance arrangements in their home country. All baggage & personal property/s at all times are at the client’s risk.
The Tour Operator makes arrangements with accommodation providers, activity providers, airlines, cruise lines, coach companies, transfer operators, shore excursion operators, tour and local guides, and other independent parties (“Third Party Suppliers”) to provide you with some or all of the components of your booking. Third Party Suppliers may also engage the services of local operators and sub-contractors. Although the Tour Operator takes all reasonable care in selecting Third Party Suppliers, the Tour Operator is unable to control Third Party Suppliers, does not supervise Third Party Suppliers and therefore cannot be responsible for their acts or omissions. Third party suppliers may utilize Trip on Himalaya’ logo on signage or uniforms solely for identification purposes which does not signify Trip on Himalaya’ ownership, management or control. As a result, Trip on Himalaya is not liable for any negligent or willful act or failure to act of any such person or entity, or of any other third party.
You acknowledge that the products and services offered by Trip on Himalaya may involve a significant amount of risk to your health and safety. By traveling with the Trip on Himalaya you acknowledge that you have considered any potential risks to health and safety. You hereby assume responsibility for all such risks and release Trip on Himalaya from all claims and causes of action arising from any losses, damages or injuries or death resulting from risks inherent in travel, including visiting foreign destinations, and participating in adventurous activities such as those included in Tour itineraries or otherwise offered by Trip on Himalaya.
The Tour Operator reserves the right to update or alter these Terms at any time, and will post the amended Terms on the Trip on Himalaya’s website at https://www.triponhimalaya.com/terms.html. We recommend that you refer to the Terms prior to travel to familiarize themselves with the most up-to-date version available.
All passengers are required to complete a Passenger Agreement prior to travel and, by so doing, formally accept Trip on Himalaya Travel’s Terms & Conditions, Release from Liability, Assumption of Risk and Binding Arbitration Agreement. Passengers booking online will be required to complete the Passenger Agreement at the time of booking. Passengers booking via telephone will be provided a verbal review of the Passenger Agreement which will be delivered via email shortly after the time of booking. Customers who are unable to receive and complete their Passenger Agreement via email may request the Agreement be provided via fax or mail. Travel documents will not be released without a completed Passenger Agreement. Trip on Himalaya reserves the right to cancel bookings and return deposits without a completed Passenger Agreement.
