The Changsheel Bugyal Trek begins with a pickup at the Dehradun Railway Station on the first day. You will take a taxi from the railway station to Dhaula Camp. Traveling to Dhaula Camp from the station is around 210 km away, and it will take 8 to 9 hours. As you approach the camp, you will get great enjoyment from the approaching Mussorie. You will spend the night in Dhaula Camp.
The following day of the trek, you will travel 10 kilometers to the Dhaula Camp, where you will trek to Akhoti Thach. About six hours remain. You will encounter several streams, tiny settlements, and thick forests while trekking. Everything you see along the route will be breathtaking in its natural splendor. There are many different trees, such as deodar, silver birch, pine, and many more, that are primarily found in hilly regions. You will pass by blossoming rhododendron blossoms if you visit this location in April. As a result, while on the hike, you will witness a range of hues that will calm you.
As you proceed, you will eventually reach the Rupin River. You will need to turn left after crossing the river, which leads to Akhoti Thach. This route will cross Estari Gad, where you might possibly spot the Monal, Uttarakhand’s state bird, as well as numerous other natural areas. You will pass by numerous apple orchards and wooden cottages as you ascend.

On your sixth day, you will hike to Sankri Village and finally Dhaula Camp. You’ll book a hotel room at Sankri Village.
Your journey thus comes to an end on this day. You are going to take a taxi back to Dehradun after your breakfast at Sankri. You are free to choose your own route back to your locations from Dehradun.

The Jolly Grant Airport is the closest airport from where you can reach Changsheel. The airport is well connected to Delhi. There are regular flights to Dehradun from Delhi. From Airport, Dehradun Railway Station is just 35km which is our meeting point.
There are regular trains running from Delhi to Dehradun. Recommended Trains:- Nandadevi Express and Dehradun Express.
Buses are also always available from Delhi to Dehradun. If you come by Bus, your departure point will be at ISBT, Dehradun. And from here you can reach out to Dehradun Railway Station which is just 6 km away.
