One of the most well-known and fascinating treks in India is the Pin Bhaba Trek, which is located in the Himachal Pradesh region and has a moderate level grade.
Though they are entirely distinct from one another, the Pin Bhaba and Pin Parvati Pass Treks may cause you some confusion. The Pin Valley is the only thing they have in common. This trek’s itinerary begins at Shimla.
This is where Pin Valley and Bhaba Valley converge when we discuss the Pin Bhaba Trek. In this place, you will see both the dryness and the flora. The Bhaba Valley side is made up of places of employment. The abundance of pine, oak, and silver birch in this area will adore you. The first part of your journey will be through thick forests. Along your trip, you will also be able to witness the Bhaba River flowing by. You will eventually arrive to a location with an abundance of greenery and vibrant blooms all around you as you continue forward and gain some height.
Large grasslands with an abundance of flora will be there. This location appears to be calming. Shepherds are also visible here. Kara meadows is one of the well-known grasslands located there. There are plenty of goats, horses, and other grass-eating creatures can be seen in this grassland.
You will eventually arrive in an area encircled by mountains covered with snow. The trail is a little bit tough, so you might become fatigued, but soon you’ll feel fine because you’ll be part of a stunning natural sight. You will notice red, yellow, and brown mountains as soon as you arrive to Pin Valley. The route to Spiti begins here. You’ll find a lot of stunning photos both before and after you arrive at your campsite. You will grow to love the Pin Bhaba Trek.

You will start your magnificent trek to Kafnu when you arrive in Shimla. One way to characterize Kafnu is as a lovely, tranquil community 200 kilometres from Shimla. Although the trip to Kafnu will take a while, it will be fascinating. You won’t even experience brief moments of boredom. The location’s attractiveness will keep you alert and aware at all times.
The village of Kafnu is situated in Himachal Pradesh’s Kinnaur district. The hydroelectric project is also visible here, making it a well-known village.
Beautiful views of Bhaba Valley will be closer to you as you proceed towards the settlement. Once there, stay at motels or guest houses to rest.
You will go out on your adventure on the second day. Mulling will be your first journey destination. It will take approximately 8 to 9 hours to reach Mulling, so this will be a lengthy walk. However, there are a number of breathtaking sight vistas that will surprise you along the way. On the journey, one can witness pine forests.
You will soon come upon the nation’s first-ever underground Hydro Project dam after a short distance. It looks fantastic. There is no photography permitted. After that, you’ll begin to rise in elevation and pass through calm areas.
There is a thick forest with silver birch, pine, and oak trees. The woodland is alive with the chirping of numerous birds. You will spend some time strolling around this forest. After that, you’ll be strolling along the Bhaba River’s left bank. You will soon arrive at Champoria Campsite. There is a bridge that you will cross after this campsite.
After some time, you will arrive at Jhandi Top. You are welcome to rest here for a bit. You will then continue walking for approximately 1.5 km to Mulling, where your overnight campground is located. Take pleasure in and spend the night at a campsite.
Have a great morning in Mulling. This day your trek distance will be less than the previous one. You will see many beautiful surprises on the way. After covering some distance, you will find a mesmerizing waterfall. Apart from this, there will be present large meadows and will look like a perfect landscape.
You will witness a natural phenomena known as the Subterranean River—that is, when the river flows underground—en route to this excursion. In this sense, you are unable to see a river; instead, you can only hear its sound. You will then cross a stream and soon come to a meadow. This meadow is filled with an abundance of vibrant flowers.
You will soon arrive at Kara Grassland, your campground, after traversing this meadow. Go to sleep in your tents.
Compared to the trek distance on other days, the distance you must walk from Kara to Pushtirang is the shortest. Your journey will begin beside the Bhaba River. You’ll soon be able to no longer see the river and be in a new area.
You will have to cross a great deal of streams in order to get to Pushtirang. After that, exercise caution when walking because the ground will be somewhat rocky.
You will shortly come to an open area. You must now proceed up the top slope in the direction of the campsite. Once in the campsite, take some time to appreciate the beauty of nature. Get some rest in the tents.
Enjoy a lovely morning at Pushtirang and get ready for the upcoming hike. The hike of the day leads to the stunning location of Bhabha Pass, the most anticipated trek of the expedition. There will be a significant shift in the weather, which will also affect the plants.
Keep climbing until you arrive at the Pass. You will become aware that you are traveling toward a colder climate along the route. You will eventually need to ascend in order to reach the surface. You will then arrive at the pass. Between the mountains is where you’ll find the pass.
It is possible to distinguish between Pin Valley and Bhaba Valley from this pass. There’s a dry area when you look at the Pin Valley. Conversely, if you face Bhaba Valley, you will see lush vegetation all the way around. The pass is where you will descend. Make sure you follow your trek guide’s recommendations and descend safely. You will arrive at Mangrungse, the campground for the day, after traveling for roughly 5 miles.
You and your pals can make use of your time here. Camps for rest.
It’s now the last day of your trek. This is the day to make the most out of your time. This will be the walk with the longest downhill (17 km), in addition to being the last day of the journey. Begin your journey by ascending. The campsite at Bara Boulder will be reached after a 3–4 km ascent. You’ll have to river stream from here.
The stream will cross and you’ll come to level ground. You will pass Pharka Village as you move across the terrain. You will soon have one more bridge to cross. Mudh Village will shortly come into view. This community perfectly embodies the splendor of the natural world.
Additionally, Spiti’s final settlement is this one. After that, you’ll travel to Kaza by car and spend the night there.
Your body requires a complete rest after traveling a long distance. Additionally, you will rest and explore the area on this day.
The time has finally arrived to go from this lovely location. You are going to journey from Kaza to Manali on this day. You will arrive at Manali after about nine or eleven hours. You will also pass Rohtang Pass en route to Manali.
